One more thing I notice is that in fact it doesn't matter what is diffed. The only difference is how M and N are related. If N>M (more lines inserted than removed) it's displayed as one change. If N<M (more removed than inserted) it's displayed as two changes. Is this how diff works or how TMerge interprets data?
