svn+ssh leaves sshd and svnserve processes running

Please see this message on the Users list, then work back through the thread leading up to it (to get the context and environment plus the things I tried to solve it before getting to this point).

I should have started the thread here on the dev list, but I thought it was some user error at the beginning.

This is a serious issue that needs to be dealt with. It's going to bite more and more people as faster 64-bit multi-core systems become more prevalent.
