Notice, that Subclipse allows to choose menu icons for the same reason.

I've agreed already it's not critical. However, IMO that would be useful feature
and consistent with ability to choose overlay icons. Now, with every change to
icons, the user has to learn new icons again. With customizable sets one could
stick to his choice of icons.

I'd like some of the icons removed. Icons make commands stand out and shouldn't
be abused as they are now, when every command has its own one.
