Sparse checkouts not working

In the latest nightly, sparse checkouts are not working. Here are my steps
to reproduce (roughly):

   1. Do an SVN Checkout. Choose "Only this item" for a project in the
   repository that has sub directories and files.
   2. Once the checkout is completed, right click on the WC root (It should
   be empty except for a .svn at this point) and go to Repo Browser.
   3. In the list view on the right, CTRL+CLICK a few of the sub directories
   (not all of them) for checkout. 3 or 4 of them should do.
   4. Right click on these selected items and go to "Update item to
   revision", and choose "Fully Recursive". Hit OK and the progress dialog will
   appear.
   5. Notice how only the first directory has files downloaded, and the
   others will simply say "Completed at 12345" with no files downloaded.
