svn:externals editing size and EOL style

Hi.

I want to be able to enter over 400 svn:externals to a thingy (node?
directory? not sure the terminology). The inline editor is limited to
30,000 bytes (it seems). Currently I'd like 35217, but more is needed
as more packages/package/trunk get added as packages-all/package. So,
I can cut everything from the editor, add the new package and try and
paste it all back in. Only the first 30,000 characters get there.

Instead I have to cut from the inline editor, paste to a file, edit
file, set CR only line endings, save file, use "load" in inline
editor.

With more than 30,000 characters in the inline editor, only
replacement and deletion can take place. No additions.

Also, cutting and pasteing from this box. Pasting in the lines with CR
only (I use Edit Pad Pro and I can set the EOL line style for the text
I'm working on), still results in CR/LF which is bounced by the svn
server.
