User name & password when commiting

Hi,

I have subversion installed on public computer and when I try to commit
files from the public computer to the repository I want to enter my user
name so that in repositary it is known that the file is committed by me, the
problem here is that someone else has already logged on to the subversion
using his username and password and hence whenever I try to commit the files
to the repository, the other persons user name gets logged in the
repositary.

Is there a way, whenever one wants to commit files to the repositary
subversion will ask for username & password so that correct user name gets
logged in the repository? If yes how do I do it?

Let me know if my question is not clear?

Thanks,
Rushil Kadakia
