1.6 icon overlay problem?

From: Gillis, Paul <pgillis_at_insight-tek.com>

I saw several reports on the user mailing list of problems with the
overlay icons in 1.6.1 not working correctly. I checked the bug list
and commit log but I could not find any confirmation that a bug exists
and a fix is included in 1.6.2.

Could somebody please tell me if this is a confirmed problem and if
there is a fix pending?

Thanks!
