I had to pull some tricks to make the tooltip resize properly at all.
Because this is only a minor issue, I would like to postpone it until 1.7.

The merge tracking stuff for 1.7 is going to require as much code
as the current log caching plus revision graph logic. Thus, I would
like to limit further 1.6 work.
