Complete redesign of SVN Properties UI

Hi,

I'm wanting to contribute to the TortoiseSVN project somehow, and I am
pretty familiar with TortoiseSVN from a usage standpoint. I feel one of the
areas in TortoiseSVN needing much improvement is the way properties are
handled. Right now everything is handled the same way: You basically type
complex logic into edit controls. This takes quite a bit of "ramp up" time
to figure out and a lot of documentation reading. If we were to improve the
interface and make it use more UI instead of text-entry, I feel it would be
more self-explanatory and more user friendly.

I, of course, would like to be the one to implement this so if anyone could
offer opinions (not just developers, user opinions are just as valuable) as
to how the UI should look then we might be able to work on it. This will be
a fairly large task and I do not expect it to be implemented quickly,
especially since I will have to do some ramping up on the code base and all
that jazz. I've created some UI mockups using a Firefox 3 extension called
Pencil <http://www.evolus.vn/Pencil/>. It's actually a very good mockup tool
and I will be presenting mockups (UI designs) for discussion. I will do
several iterations over the interface and figure out what the best direction
is based on discussion generated.

Stefan: Do you have a recommended location to post mockups? They will be in
PNG format. Wherever I post them, I'll be providing links to the images here
as well as the Pencil source so anyone can edit the mockups as well. We
might have to use Subversion to manage the original source, though, if
multiple people will be working on it.
