RE: Cleanup failed after disk full as cause of checkout

If you saved the log so that you know where SVN ran out of disk space -
you could try to delete the folder from your WC where it stopped and
then do an update of the entire WC.

I think SVN is pretty well behaved when a part of a WC is missing
"cleanly".

No guarantees though...
