Vista issue - 1.5.7

Hi,

I was introducing
a friend to the wonders of svn and TortoiseSVN recently – we downloaded client v1.5.7
last night and his OS is Vista, SP1.

I created a
local repo on his C drive, and then populated it with some files and
folders. I then retrieved a working copy
of the entire repo. At this point, all
glyphs were green – all looked fine.

I noticed that
when I added new files/folders to the file system then selected “context menu -
TortoiseSVN, Add”, after the Add, the ‘changed/red exclamation circle’ glyph was
shown, rather than the ‘blue +’ that I expected. Once I did a Commit, the green glyph was
displayed as expected.

Has
TortoiseSVN behaviour changed for newly-added files, or does this sound like a
bug?

Regards

Stewart
