TSVN 1.5.5 on Windows XP with DFS Network Shares

I am now trying this again with version 1.5.5 r14063 and still have the same problems.

I have tried:
Unchecking all drive types.
Excluding all paths except the drive (fixed disk) where the repository is checked out.
Setting status cache none.

Eric,

Have you tried disabling the overlays on all network drives by unchecking the checkmark? If that works, try putting your O:\* in the Include textbox and see if it works better that way.

I use DFS for my stuff and went to that method a while back. I don't remember exactly why, but I think it had to do with eventual hangs while talking to file shares (killing the user session from the file server side would temporarily fix it, so I was probably hitting some kind of limit somewhere).

O:\* O:\*.* \\(UNCPATH)\* O: O:\*\*

Once again, if I uninstall TSVN all is fine browsing the DFS Share again.

If no overlays show up (and you've correctly excluded those paths from showing them), then TSVN does nothing while simply browsing. That should not slow down the explorer at all.

What are the strings you've entered in the 'exclude' box?
