You can ship the DLLs without the merge-module, though, can't you -
as long as you copy the DLLs and their manifest then you're OK.

Ah, that's a different sort of problem!

Personally, I wouldn't care if the installer did get that much
bigger, but I expect there'll be the usual boilerplate whining about bloat...
