I wouldn't expect them to be as personable as you guys are :(

I find it odd that other context menu icons (Like WinMerge) show up just
fine, but TortoiseSVN's do not. I'll contact them and see what they can do,
but since they are a shareware product, they will probably take their pretty
time on getting it done.
