Wait for five seconds *once* after TortoiseSVN has been installed? Takes about as much time as finding & unchecking "the-software-that-I-don't-want-on-my-pc" in the installer. That's about the time you have to wait before Firefox/Thunderbird allow you to click on "OK" when you want to install a plugin.

Make the user use this time to contemplate whether the software is worth something to him :)

How about trying to make money by creating customized installers for corporate environments.
