svn up problem..

> svn up;
svn: Working copy '.' locked
svn: run 'svn cleanup' to remove locks (type 'svn help cleanup' for details)

> svn cleanup;
svn: In directory '.'
svn: '.svn/tmp/text-base/under_maintenance.html.svn-base' has unsupported
special file type '<!DOCTYPE'

any ideas I would like to preserve the files in the repository and working
copy.

I thought I could copy my working copy and re-import it as another base
directory name
then change the name of the old base directory name in the repository to
something else
and then change my new base directory back to the old.

Any help appreciated.. does anyone know the address for the general
subversion mailing list.

Thanks
Tyler
