Version 1.4.5
I Shift-Right-click on a modified file and select "Diff with URL".
The dialog asks for a URL so I supply the URL for the same file I
clicked. Up comes the diff viewer, saying that one file is the
HEAD revision of that file in the repository, and the other one
is the working copy. The problem is that the files as identical;
they are both the head revision in the repo.
A normal Diff operation reports the same files being compared,
but it will correctly show the actual differences.
So... Why isn't the feature actually using the working copy?
--------------------------
Another minor bug... The help button in the "Diff with URL"
dialog takes you to the wrong place in the help file, the topic
"To Checkout or to Switch...". That topic, rather coincidentally,
uses a dialog box whose controls and layout match exactly those
of the Diff with URL dialog. (The help file makes only brief
mention of this diff. feature). Anywawy, looks like the new
dialog was copied from the other one and not fully customized.
The cut-and-paste ogre strikes again :).
Thanks,
// Steve
