Just my 2 cents...

The pragmatic approach would be to collect all these ideas, store them for
future reference and wait until someone actually demands such a feature. A
really complex analysis algorithm wouldn't IMHO fit into TSVN's "job
description" and should definitely be done outside. The way that my
colleges and I use the stats dialog is to get a quick visual feedback of
what's going on in the repository. And my guess would be that this is the
way most people are using the stats dialog.

So, while adding a few usability upgrades and some eye-candy (time
permitting :-) would do no harm to the stats dialog, I myself wouldn't
want to spend any time to write a really complex statistics analysis
engine - at least not inside TSVN.

Well, so much for that from my corner :-)

Oh, btw, the current commit data caching, is that done using a database?

Bye,
Andreas
