Oops, my mistake -- actually the above message appears when
running 'Merge all' on trunk.
Running on branch created with recent nightly displays "Merging rX to rY"
message and does nothing -- I guess this is correct.
Running on branch created with older nightly does try to merge *all* trunk
revisions from rX to rY (in the case I tried there was about 20000 of them).
