Import of non-SVN patches.

I am working with another developer who is using TortoiseSVN to track a
project. I sent them a patch file, not generated with SVN, and they were
unable to apply the patch using TortoiseSVN. I do not have any windows
machines, so I have no way to test this.

It seems to be complaining about the 'Index: ' line in the patch, with is
going to be SVN specific.

Is there any expectation that this should work? My specific patch was
generated by 'git', but it is accepted just fine by 'patch -p1'. I can
send you same patches if that would help.

I suggested to the developer to use patch itself, but that seems to be
befuddling to most windows-only developers.

Thanks,
David Brown
