It is good to note these comments in the issue tracker, but if you
need an answer it is better to ask on the mailing list. Not everyone
subscribes to the issues feed.

On the axis, use start and end dates of the interval (or single date
if the resolution is 1 day).

Within the graph area you could do the same, but even better would be
to use the first and last commit date that the data point is referring
to (and of course single date if the graph point is showing a single
commit).

If you are feeling really ambitious the in-graph tooltip could list
the individual commit dates if there are less than, say, 10 commits
for the graph point.

IMHO of course ;-)
