Enhancement: Refresh in the repo-browser should go "deeper"

When I have to open (click the '-') a folder in some depth in the
repo-browser I have to wait for the remote access several seconds for
each subfolder I open.
Same is when I invoke a refresh on a just unfolded dendritic tree, the
whole tree disappears, and I have to refresh it by hand.

For this I propose to refresh the tree up to some depth (let's say 5) in
the background cache at the same time.
It should be possible, because when I open the repo-browser from a
deeper point in the Windows Explorer, the whole tree is fetched at once.
