MKACTIVITY 400 Bad Request

I get the following error when I try to commit to the SVN server from my
apartment.

Error: MKACTIVITY of
'/Ramrod/!svn/act/27807887-0189-8e41-bb98-99dd9e595586': 400 Bad Request (
http://www.******.com)

It works fine when I'm at school, but from my apartment, it doesn't. I
doesn't work for me or my friend. I asked my teacher who runs the SVN
server, but he says he has no idea why it doesnt work. I tried following the
instructions here, http://subversion.tigris.org/faq.html#proxy, but they
didn't help either, but I dont even know what most of it means. Can you guys
help me? Thanks a lot.
