Fixed in revision 9850.

Should be fixed in revision 9851. Not sure though, I couldn't reproduce
this, maybe because I didn't quite get what you did from your
description or I did something else wrong. But as of r9851, if the repo
browser is canceled, the checkout dialog is not changed anymore.
