Way to hide the context menu icons?

(TortoiseSVN 1.4.99, Build 9715 - 32 Bit -dev, 2007/06/10 17:07:27)

After the recent re-writting of the code responsible for showing the
context menu icons I found to my great regret that there is no way to
hide icons. I was happy with the hidden registry setting, but it's
respected no more.

Is there an intention to bring that option back?
