The issue tracker still has this at 0% complete. I would say it is a
lot more than that now ;) Out of interest, how does it measure up to
the goals you set out in the comments with respect to the KDE
repository?

Is it worthy of a proper checkbox in the settings dialog now, rather
than a registry edit to enable it?

Maybe also it's time to make using the cache the default - after all,
the whole point of the nightly is to get as much exposure as possible.
