"recent messages" in commit dialog - strange behavior

Hi

Try this:
1) create new folder in existing wc and add this folder using "Add..."
context action
2) create subfolder of this new folder and add this subfolder using
"Add..." context action
3) Use commit on subfolder, write commit message and click OK - svn
gives you nice error message (you must commit parent folder)
AND
Your crafted commit message is NOT stored in commit dialog messages
history...

Is this bug or by design ?
