It happens to me quite often, that a commit fails and the dialog reopens.
But I have never seen the filenames appear twice.

Could give some more details? Is this reproducible? Could you give an exact
reproduction recipe? Did you call "commit" on a directory or on a selection
of files? Did you drag some files into the commit dialog?
