Nope, still crashes in r8901. The message has changed to something like
'.' is not a working copy (sorry, I'm not on the updated machine right
now, so can't remember the exact text). But if you click on the message
you get a fatal error.

To reproduce, right click on a WC and select repo-browser. After the
browser shows the repo for your WC, enter an invalid URL in the address bar.
