On google summer of code

Hello Subversion developers,

I just noticed Ben's announcement at:

we need the capability in Scmbug to retrieve configuration information
from the repository:

Could this be advertised in your list of ideas that may attract
students ?

I'm willing to provide mentoring help from the SCM integration side, but
I lack the background to provide feedback on how this can actually be
implemented in Subversion.
