Which project?

Yes.

That's of course is a problem. But we 'solved' it in TSVN by increasing
the size of labels, buttons, ... to a size which can hold all translations.
I'm thinking about implementing some function in our dialogs to reduce
the size of labels, ... again when the dialog first starts up (reducing
the size so that it just can hold the text it's supposed to, using the
calculated width of the string). But that's something which doesn't have
that much of a priority.

No, version information is not replaced/translated. But it's a version
info - what's translated there? You can of course modify ResText to do
so if you like.
About the language ID of the resource dll: those ID's are not changed by
default. But there's a switch with which you can force ResText to do so.
Just know that there's a bug in Windows which can produce corrupted
resource dll's if you don't have the correct patch installed. That's why
the language ID of the resources are kept by default.
