Error showing log in merge window in 1.4.0.7501

Hi there,

I just upgraded to 1.4, and tried to use the merge dialog but
encountered an error.

To reproduce:

    * Right click on a working copy, and select "Merge"
    * Click the "Show Log" button in the "result of merge" section at
      the bottom
    * Then the follow error appears an no logs display in the log window.

        Can't check path 'https:\\reponame\path': The
        filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

If I right-click the directory in explorer, and select "Show Log", the
log dialog works fine.

Sorry if this has already been reported. I had a quick look through the
mapcar changelog but didn't see anything obvious.
