Eric,

How do you propose the tools should distinguish between irrelevant
case changes (like TheHDW.bla to thehdw.bla) and relevant changes
(like call_me("Stringy") to call_me("strINgy"))?

Or do you want to take the risk of having these changes undetected or
even uncommitted?
