OK, I now found out that I _can_ set the eol-style and mime-type
properties on multiple files at once, *if I write them out myself*. They
do not appear in the drop-down list however when operating on several
paths at once. They do appear when working on a single path. The bug is
that they disappear from the list when multiple files are selected.

I found out about auto-props, and I am going to use it. However, these
are client-side settings and as I am in the process of introducing
Subversion to my colleagues, I would rather offer them the possibility
of just using the GUI instead of diving into a text file; although we
all will probably do that eventually anyway .

Thanks,
Bastiaan.
