Ok, now that's definitely not TSVN's fault. If it would be possible for
a normal program to hide files or folders even though the settings in
the explorer tell otherwise, imagine how easily spyware or viruses could
hide themselves much better than they do now?

Due to the fact that Subversion 1.4 upgrades the working copy format
when using (almost) any command, the cache doesn't show the right (or
any) overlay icons during that time.

You could just have run the "cleanup" command, which would have upgraded
the working copy completely. Then the cache would have been fine after that.
