Hi Sven
This following line of questioning is better know as "clutching at straws".

Do you have disk cache software e.g. Cacheman running at all?
Does it still occur after running CHKDSK /F?
Does it still occur after defraging the drive?
Is the machine 's memory use running close enough to the point where
it's doing frequent swaps to/from the paging file?

The issue is raised to help tease out whether there might be something
unique to your machine such that sending Stefan the repo might not help
anyway.
