Hey Guys,
I had been trying to re-open a feature request but Stefan suggested
I instead bring my thoughts to this discussion. The relevance of my request
probably falls under the category of commit work flow. Basically my problem
is that I'm often committing a large number of files to a large repository
but within those files need separate commits as to provide distinct comments
on different sets of files. While in my case the delay is not as extreme as
Jared's, it can take 1 to 2 mins to scan the directories each time I do a
commit. In the case where I'm doing perhaps 20-30 separate commits this can
really add up and tends to discourage separating comments, which IMO is bad.
It would be great if you could perform a commit without closing the dialog
so that the files you commit disappear from the list, but you don't need to
reopen/rescan to begin committing again.
