usability snag

Hi,

here's a little usability idea.

In the commit dialog, I tend to go down the list right-clicking each file
and doing "Compare with Base" to see what I'm about to commit. I
right-click and select the first option in the context menu, and this
motion becomes semi-automatic.

But for files that are "added", not "modified", the first option in the
context menu is Revert. It does ask for confirmation before reverting, but
in this pre-commit scan mode one tends to be a little absent-minded and
rash. For a person in that state, this location of Revert invites loss of
work. (I had a close call just now.)

That risk would be lessened if the first option in the context menu were
something non-destructive, such as "Show log" ... or a "Compare" that is
greyed out or that compares against an empty file like diff -N.

Regards,
