A wrong checksum when updating usually means either a corrupted working
copy, or worse some bad sectors on the harddrive.

Does it work when you check out with TSVN too?
That would indicate some bad sectors on your harddrive, because you most
likely checked out to a different location than your working copy is on.

Please run chkdsk on your harddrive.
