Subject: Wish list for TortoiseSVN

Dear Luebbe and Steve,

Let me start by saying that TortoiseSVN is amazing! It saves an inumerable
amount of time.

I have two ideas that might improve TortoiseSVN:

1. A splitter between the filelist and the textbox for entering the log
when committing. Often I don't change that many files in one go, but I tend
to write elaborative logs. With a splitter I would be able to see more of
the log I'm writing.

2. Formatting options. (Probably a lot of work). I would like it if I
could make parts of the text bold or italic or give it some color. It could
make the log better readable. TortoiseSVN has some kind of Code Completion,
suggesting class-names or method-names. It could also, for example,
automatically display those words in Italic.
An easier way to provide formatting, is to display text between * and * as
bold, and text btween ^ and ^ italic, for example. This way the log is still
plain text, though there are some formatting options. The application
wouldn't be broken if the formatting characters are not parsed. (I think it
wouldn't be too much work to extend the list with other characters for other
formats, since the textbox when entering the log and the textbox in the
logviewer are the only places that have to be changed).

(I understand you can't implement everybody's wishes :) )

Thanks!
