Just got the nightly build... not sure where to disable TSVNCache but I was able to suspend it with sysinternals process explorer. Also with their filemon I see the actual disk access that is occurring.

I actually have a lot of code on my desktop that I am not actively using... how about a configuration option for TSVN to only cache (or exclude) certain directories?

The cache monitors the filesystem for changes. If it would only run if
you're not using the PC, then the overlays would be always outdated and
therefore be completely useless (I'd say it would be worse than useless,
because they would show the *wrong* information).

You can try a 1.4.x nightly build - there you can deactivate the cache.
