Repository URLs on web page

Hi Folks,

Did we ever try to use the form http://user@url for the urls that point to
our repository at tigris.org?
I just checked that http://guest@tortoisesvn.tigris.org/svn/tortoisesvn
works fine. Is there any reason not to use this form? IMO it would be better
to use user@url, because that would make life easier for people who just
want to browse the repository.
