I'm not "having a go at Stefan".
Don't make such ridiculous accusations without backing it up with evidence.
And when you now go and do try to find evidence - make sure to include
the context - thank you.

(I was having a go at you, but that's another story - you were having
a go at me too ;-).)

I'm not scared of having a discussion with Stefan about points where
we disagree.
I'm not going to start being dishonest with him just to be an
arse-licker because he happens to be the man around here.
That may seem arrogant to a lot, but I'm fine with seeming arrogant if
that means I get to be honest too. I aim to displease.

Couldn't agree more.
I respect and admire the work he does the most.

Discussions involving Stefan and I tend to rise to heated arguments.
I can see a couple of possible reasons why.

* Neither of us are native english speakers, and we're communicating
through a mailing list.

* We both like vivid discussions, and we both tend to make harsh
statements to prove a point. Just look at all the times both Stefan
and I have said 'NO.' to each other's statements.

I personally have no big issue with any of the above, but if I've
grossly overstepped the line with you Stefan, then I sincerely
apologize.

Ah, not at all, although I was airing the idea that the reason for
TSVN not asking being because he was worried that that would mean less
people would turn it on.

I was out of line, and Stefan told me I was, and there was no further
comments on that.

My far-fetched idea about why TSVN doesn't ask (the idea probably
stemming from my condition of paranoid delusions) was wrong, and
Stefan discharged it as being false.
I'm not sure it's a big deal.

Yeah, I think so too.
