TSVNCache cpu bound

Hi,
On my system periodically TSvnCache.exe uses 100% cpu and task manager
indicates that it i doing vast amounts or IO (but the disk light in mostly
off)
 
This happens once or twice a day for me. The only remedy I have it to kill
the process and all appears to work OK
 
I have not determined what causes this activity
 
I am using version 1.3.1 on Windows XP sp2. All autoupdate patches are up to
date
