You seem to want a "replace URL with URL" command.

I'm fairly certain there is an open issue in the issue tracker for that,
but I can't find it right now. If I just phantasized that, can someone
please file an issue?

So far, you'll need two revisions to accomplish this: First delete your
"tags/stable" tag, then tag your stable version again to "tags/stable".
