Are you sure this is the same. Malcolm Rowe has just explained why 2496
is not a real bug, and this case doesn't seem to fit. Here svn merge works.

Another thing I noticed when looking at the problem as I originally
reported it:

1. Add two files fileA and fileB and commit folder.
2. Edit fileA and commit folder.
3. Rename and edit fileB, then commit folder.
4. Show log for file or folder and select newest revision.
5. In bottom pane, Added fileB-New, try Show Differences.

This time it knows to get the correct rev for the older version, but
fails to use a pegrev on the new name I think.
