Hi,

we are using the TortoiseSVN Gui and have found a difference / bug to
the svn client.

We think it is a real bug!!

Szenario:

Using Tortoise:

1. Create a repository
2. create the folders trunk and branches in repro
3. create a working folder
4. connect workingfolder to trunk
5. create a a.txt file in folder and commit (revision is 4)
6. modify the file and create a new branch "branches/mybranch" by
using the working-copy (modified a.txt) don't switch! (revision is 5)
7. revert the working directory (trunk)
8. merge the branch to trunk from 4 : 5 (choosen from the logs in
the from part of dialog)
9. ERROR the folder "mybranch" doesn't exists in rev 4!
10. try the commandline svn "svn merge -r 4:5 branchurl workingdir"
works perfect!

SVN Version 1.2.0 r14790

Tortoisesvn 1.4.0 and 1.3.1 and 1.3.2 all the same result

You need more informations, ask?

Thanks
