I think the \windows\minidump directory is only used for crash dump
files that were caused by Windows crashing itself (blue screens etc.).
When a normal application crashes the dump file is written to the temp
directory. The location of the file is shown if you click on the "more
details" button in the "Send to Microsoft" dialog. But from your mail I
understand you already found that file.

I hope you meant "dump" instead of "dumb" :-)
