Neither difficult nor useless. But I don't think you would like the repo
browser anymore if we did that (or you wouldn't use the search).
Retrieving all the files/folders in a whole repository can take a *lot*
of time, especially over DAV. So either the repobrowser would do that on
startup (which means you have time to get a coffee every time you start
the repobrowser), or just do it for a search - which will result in the
same wait before you get any results.
Maybe when Subversion 1.4 comes out: the guys plan some enhancements, so
it would be possible to get that information much faster.
