Release candidate generally means just that, "release candidate".

That is:
If no bugs are reported against the latest RC, it is released
unmodified as the official new version. No further bugfixes either.
The only thing that change is the version number.

That's the whole point ;-). Wouldn't be much use for beta testers to
test the RC if they know that the code is going to change anyway
before it's released.
